Since 1994, Trident Press Pty Ltd was created to publish some of the most straight forward and easy to understand books on sometimes confusing subjects such as Offshore Investment and Banking, Mutual Funds and Stocks, Financial Privacy, Wealth Creation, Taxation, Financial Privacy, Asset Protection and General Investment Strategies.
Trident Confidential
In 2005, Lance combined the books and reports of his career to that point to create The Ultimate Wealth, Privacy and Freedom Library, which included a subscription to Trident Confidential. This was an email stock market newsletter designed to give not just stock buys but also an investment system created from years of experience of his own investing techniques. This has become one of the highest returning stock market newsletter services in the world.

The Investment Manager of the Trident Global Growth Fund, who is also the editor of Trident Confidential is accountant, licensed financial advisor and professional investor, Lance Spicer.
After a long career as a senior accountant, financial executive and tax consultant to several major international corporations in Australia, Lance to decided to pursue his real passion, investing.
Since embarking on his full time "investing career" in 1994 (although he has been involved in the markets professionally for 30 years), the results have been outstanding.
Using his accounting and corporate skills he has been able to identify underlying value in companies often overlooked by the market and this has resulted in long term returns (since 1994) in excess of 50%pa and in more recent years, from 2005, returns of over 68%pa.
Utilising "The Trident Investment Selection System", Lance employs fundamental analysis, economic analysis and his 30 years of experience in addition to good old fashioned common sense (which is not so common anymore), he has been able to pinpoint great investments with a 98% success rate. Lance started his own business, Trident Press Pty Ltd in 1994 as an investment book author. Over the course of his career he has written 37 books on subsjects of investing, offshore issues, taxation, wealth generation from the stock market, privacy and personal freedom.

The New Trident Global Growth Fund Launches 1 December 2010

"People for years have been asking me to invest their money for them and now I’m going to. You can let me do all the work.
This new fund will be investing predominately in Australian and International stocks and will be seeking long-term growth well above market returns (would you expect anything else?). From time to time, the Fund may also invest in unlisted securities if the investment meets the Trident investment philosophy.
“I will be limiting the size of the fund. One of the truisms of stock market investing is that there is a sweet spot where you have enough funds under management to invest in all your good ideas, but not so much that you are limited to only large cap companies, in much the same way as Warren Buffett has often said that his Berkshire Hathaway business is hampered by it’s size”.
The intention is that this won’t be replacing Trident Confidential. I expect the fund and the newsletter will be mostly investing in different things. There are so many great opportunities out there in Europe, the US, China, other parts of Asia as well as Australia that to put them all in the newsletter would be impossible simply because I think a newsletter portfolio with over 40 stocks is unwieldy and it’s unrealistic to think that there are many subscribers with more than say 20-30 stocks in their portfolio.
This is where the fund comes in - it offers another level of diversification and into companies and industries that may not have been suitable stocks for the newsletter. In essence, the Fund is not replacing the newsletter, but supplementing it."
